Forestry engineer and specialist in geospatial analysis, Marilyn Manrow, will join us for our fourth webinar in the 1000FARMS series to talk about “ClimMob Updates: Enhancing usability, organisation and collaboration”.

Summary

Marilyn serves as the Operations and Project Management Lead at MrBot Software Solutions in Costa Rica. She has a master’s degree in tropical forest management and biodiversity conservation and her expertise spans digital innovation in agriculture, participatory research, and data-driven decision-making.
ClimMob is a platform designed for managing and analysing participatory trials, enabling researchers and farmers to collaborate in large-scale experiments.

In the ClimMob project, Marilyn plays a key role in integrating scientific community requirements into the platform’s development and enhancement, leveraging agile methodologies, stakeholder workshops and collaborative research approaches.

This presentation will highlight ClimMob’s latest features to enhance usability, improve data organisation and streamline user interaction, including local language support, trial metadata documentation, technology taxonomy, project typologies, chat support and other improvements.


About the 1000FARMS webinar series

Our webinars will highlight the varied projects carried out by our partners, featuring experts, farmers, groundbreaking studies, and discussions on the overall impact of tricot and other farmer-led trials.

The webinars will take place every two weeks, usually on Tuesdays from 15:00 to 15:30 CET, and are open to anyone. The format is a 15-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of open discussion.
